MEP EngineerPosition OverviewThe MEP Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in various facilities, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards. This role focuses on delivering Building Automation System (BAS) projects and enhancing energy efficiency across different sectors including healthcare, education, and biotechnology.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop MEP systems for various projects including hospitals, educational institutions, and biotech facilities.Manage BAS project delivery to ensure timely and within-budget completion.Conduct retro-commissioning and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems to optimize performance.Collaborate with project management teams to provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.Implement building energy projects aimed at enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability.Optimize control systems for HVAC and other MEP components to improve operational efficiency.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all project deliverables.Participate in the development of project specifications and documentation.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP design and project management.Proficient in Building Automation System (BAS) engineering and project delivery.Experience in retro-commissioning and commissioning processes.Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and energy optimization techniques.Familiarity with critical environments such as hospitals and biotech facilities.Industry accreditation in energy management or related fields is a plus.Benefits401kHolidaysMedical/DentalTransitContinued EducationTrainingEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
