We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Generalist in the DTLA area who is ready to transition into a solo HR Manager role at our boutique law firm. This position offers an opportunity to lead HR functions independently while enjoying a supportive environment that provides 100% paid medical benefits.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance within the firm.Manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and collaborate with external payroll service providers as needed.Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the firm's goals and legal requirements.Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, fostering a positive workplace culture.Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.Utilize HRIS (Bamboo preferred) to manage employee records, benefits administration, and reporting.Analyze HR metrics to assess effectiveness of programs and identify areas for improvement.Stay updated on employment law and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably within a boutique law firm or corporate services environment.Familiarity with payroll processes and systems; prior experience in managing payroll is a plus.Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.Experience with HRIS systems; knowledge of Bamboo or ADP is highly desirable.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the firm.Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Benefits:100% paid medical benefits.Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Opportunity for professional growth in a supportive work environment.
