Job Profile SummaryThe Regional Purchasing Manager will lead purchasing team members and supplier partners to execute tactical purchasing activities and implement contract programs at the facility level with the intention to achieve maximum cost reductions and efficiencies. Responsible for effectively administering the Procure to Pay process. Additionally, the Regional Purchasing Manager communicates KPI and project status across the organization in the various Indirect materials and services categories.Key ResponsibilitiesControl and improve the procure to pay processDocument standard work and policies to support the procure to pay processExecute the sourcing strategies set by the sourcing team at the facility levelDocument standard work to support the deployment of indirect materials and servicesUtilizes MOC best practices and coordinates trials/product testing while informing stakeholdersEnsure contract terms and deliverables are metLeverage and make necessary changes at the facility level to maximize advantages in the contractsTrack and report KPI's to senior leadersTrack progress and lead cross functional teams to identify & execute cost out opportunities through suppliersFacilitate yearly supplier scorecard evaluations to support the sourcing team's supplier business reviewAbility to travel up to 20%Education and ExperienceTypically possesses 5-7 years of relevant experience in sourcing, purchasing or manufacturing focused project management2-3 years experience Indirect Purchasing: Indirect materials, facility services, IT, professional services3 years in a management of people roleBachelor's degree from an accredited institutionKnowledge and SkillsProficient in Project Management methodologies, processes and toolsAble to build and maintain effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to create and lead the implementation of sourcing strategiesFull and clear understanding of contractual languageStrong leadership, motivational and interpersonal skillsPossesses a fundamental understanding of plant manufacturing operationsPossesses previous experience working in project management, accounting, purchasing, or sourcing roleProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and any other relevant softwarePreferred Competencies:Functional CompetenciesProject management: AdvancedTotal Material Cost Out: AdvancedRelationship management- Stakeholders: AdvancedCommodity Management: IntermediateSupplier Management: IntermediateLeader CompetenciesThinks and Acts StrategicallyGets ResultsBuilds Organizational CapabilityDemonstrates a servant leadership style
