The innovative company, based in Novi, Michigan, is focused on developing high pressure, safe, lightweight, conformable compressed gas storage systems for natural gas, air, oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen.About the JobThe High-Pressure Testing Technician is responsible for conducting high-pressure tests on various components, equipment, and systems to ensure they meet safety, quality, and performance standards. This role requires a strong understanding of high-pressure testing procedures, equipment operation, and adherence to safety protocols. The technician will work closely with engineering and quality control teams to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Conduct High-Pressure TestsQuality AssuranceSafety ComplianceEquipment Maintenance including routine maintenance and calibrationRecord KeepingCollaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and quality controlTroubleshooting technical issuesCompliance and Regulation with industry regulations, codes, and standardsContinuous Improvement of self and productAbout You:High school diploma or equivalent (additional technical training or certification is a plus)Proven experience in high-pressure testing or a related field (3-5 years preferred)Familiarity with high-pressure testing equipment and systemsStrong understanding of safety protocols and proceduresAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keepingEffective communication skillsPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds)Comfortable working in confined spaces if requiredAbility to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
