Power Systems EngineerProficiency in power system analysis including power flow simulations, transient stability analysis, contingency analysis, and event analysis. Relevant areas for this position include synchrophasor technology, wide area monitoring systems (WAMS), oscillations monitoring and analysis, data analysis, machine learning, IBR performance monitoring and analysis, generator model validation and dynamic simulations. Applicants with experience in real-time operations support for transmission and distribution systems, control room technology, including synchrophasor applications, are highly encouraged to apply for this position. Applicants with advanced degrees and 3 years+ of experience preferred. Applicants with knowledge of both RMS domain and EMT simulation tools such as PSSE, PSLF, Power World, TSAT, PSCAD, EMTP, Matlab and experience with python, C++, C# programming languages preferred. Minimum requirements are a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
