Responsibilities:Conducts detailed performance and portfolio analytics and generates reportsProficiently use and understand all portfolio and risk analytics tools available.Conduct detailed portfolio analyses including performance contribution and attribution, exposures, portfolio and performance characteristics, and various risk metrics to assist in the completion of RFPs and DDQsSupport Sales and Marketing efforts in client meeting preparation by running reports, compiling data, and interpreting resultsCreatively handle one-off and ad-hoc portfolio analytics requests and deliver accurate and concise analyses on a timely mannerPrepare files and/or populate consultant databases with quarterly portfolio and performance-based analytics data in an accurate and timely mannerManage and seek to improve equity research coverage and performance review processesMaintain internal data sets and custom reporting settingsPerform thorough and timely review of vital marketing materialsPrepare market commentary for the equity research teamQualifications:Bachelor's degree2-8 years of relevant experience in performance/portfolio analysis or risk reporting within the asset management industry, especially in support of both US and non-US equity products, and to a lesser degree, fixed income productsAdvanced knowledge of MS Excel, VBA, PowerPoint, and WordFactSet PA and/or Bloomberg. Knowledge of Morningstar Direct, and eVestment platforms desirableSuperior computer skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be comfortable working with formulas, databases, reports, and charts
