In this role there are opportunities for development of skills, knowledge, and processes in both an office setting and to some extent in medicine due to our relationship with the healthcare industry.THE JOBThe purpose of the Accounting Coordinator role is to complete all daily, weekly and assist with all monthly bookkeeping tasks of the business to include accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, etc..Additionally, the role holder supports management during annual financial audit and supports the customer service team as needed. This person leads by providing the best example of world class customer service combined with thoughtful decision-making by always keeping the company's policies and mission in mind.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIESKey TasksDaily, weekly and monthly bank/cash reconciliationAccounts Payable (AP) activities including bill entry, payment allocation and weekly Aged Payable reviewAccounts Receivable (AR) activities including Customer invoice entry, payment entry and applications, weekly Aged Receivables review and collection activitiesOrganization and maintenance of digital and physical bookkeeping records per company policy and requirementsWeekly Sales Figures report sent to wide company audienceMonthly financial statement reporting and prepManagement & Team Support TasksProvides staff with policy/procedural guidance and systems troubleshooting assistanceAll aspects of customer service via telephone, written correspondence, email, fax and website activitiesAnnual financial audit assistance with reports and with samples until audit is completedSeek ways to improve departmental efficiency and effectivenessTECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCEBachelor Degree and at least 5 years of customer service experience in a professional office settingExperience in bookkeeping with handling AR/AP/Cash transactions and reportsPracticed in maintaining financial records, reconciliation of accounts, and reporting/analysing any discrepancies or entry concernsExcellent communication skills with high level of professionalismStrong problem-solving skills and flexibility to learn and adapt to challengesAbility to resolve customer complaints and issues in a calm, supportive and positive wayExceptional organizational skills, familiarity with best practices in filing and record keepingKnowledge of general business computer software and aptitude to learn ERP and CRM software applications.Enthusiastic team player with good communication and motivational skillsAble to work on own initiative, keen to explore new ideas in the improvements of the departmentVery strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entryProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerAble to safely lift and handle products up to 40 lbsTHE PACKAGE - WHATS IN IT FOR YOU?We offer a competitive salary and a performance-related bonusbased on national quarterly sales.National Holidays and PTOHealth Insurance (with full employer paid option)Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA and a Variety of Supplemental Insurance Options401(k) Plan + Company MatchGroup Life InsuranceCompany sponsored Wellness AppOther benefits include a culture of learning & connection and the opportunity to play a key role in a growing company!If this sounds like an exciting opportunity and you feel you have got what it takes, please send your CV with a covering letter telling us why you consider yourself suitable for the role.
