This individual will be the main and sole IT support individual, supporting the multi-media team, made up of 40 artists that work on all the commercials, doing pre and post production work within their studioSkills:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field3+ years of experience in IT support within a creative/production environmentStrong knowledge of post-production workflows and creative software (Cinema 4D, Maya, Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)Experience managing rendering plugins including V-Ray, Arnold, and Physical RendererProven experience managing AWS Deadline render farm environmentsExperience with digital asset management systems and media storage solutionsProficiency in networking protocols and troubleshootingUnderstanding of video codecs, formats, and compression techniquesExperience with render farm management and optimization3D and Plugin ManagementCinema 4D network administration and licensingPlugin deployment and configuration managementExperience with floating license serversRender Farm ManagementExperience with AWS Deadline Worker and submission nodes setupKnowledge of render farm architecture and scalabilityWe're seeking a skilled Post Production IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic advertising team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our post-production technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless workflow for our creative teams, and providing technical support for all digital asset management systems.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for post-production software and hardware systems used in creative content developmentManage and maintain AWS Deadline render farm infrastructure, including node configuration, job scheduling, and resource optimizationInstall, configure, and troubleshoot Cinema 4D and associated plugins across workstations and render nodesManage licensing servers for all 3D and effects software (Cinema 4D, V-Ray, Boris FX, Arnold, etc.)Configure and optimize render settings for various engines (Arnold, V-Ray, Physical Renderer)Manage and maintain digital asset management (DAM) systems and media storage infrastructureTroubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues in a fast-paced production environmentConfigure and support video editing workstations, rendering farms, and associated peripheralsCollaborate with creative teams to optimize workflow efficiency and system performanceImplement and maintain backup and archive solutions for creative assetsSupport remote editing and collaboration tools for distributed creative teamsMonitor system performance and implement preventive maintenance measuresRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field3+ years of experience in IT support within a creative/production environmentStrong knowledge of post-production workflows and creative software (Cinema 4D, Maya, Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)Preferred QualificationsExperience in a corporate advertising or media production environmentExperience with Cinema 4D pipeline development and automationKnowledge of Cinema 4D's XPresso and Python scriptingFamiliarity with Boris FX suite (Mocha Pro, Continuum, Sapphire)Experience with additional 3D packages (Maya, 3ds Max, Houdini)Knowledge of cloud-based collaboration tools and workflowsFamiliarity with automation scripts and workflow optimizationExperience with virtual workstation environmentsUnderstanding of color management systems and calibrationTechnical SkillsCinema 4D administration and configurationAdobe Creative Cloud administrationRendering engines (Arnold, V-Ray, Physical Renderer)Effects plugins (Boris FX suite, Red Giant suite)Asset management and version control systemsAWS Deadline render management softwareAWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch)Python scripting and automationRender farm management and optimizationNetwork storage systems (NAS/SAN)Windows and Mac OS environmentsMedia asset management platformsIT security protocolsDatabase managementCloud storage platformsRemote desktop support tools
