Our client is one of the fastest growing Insurance Brokerage firms in the US and they are seeking a Sr. HR Business Partner to lead programs and initiatives aligned with business objectives and talent strategy. This role will drive employee engagement and foster an inclusive culture. The HR Business Partner will also develop strong relationships with leadership, support talent acquisition and development, address employee relations issues, and ensure compliance with employment laws. In addition, this role will serve as the direct HR partner to a designated group of employees. The ability to travel to office locations in multiple states is essential.Responsibilities:Act as a strategic partner to leadership, providing guidance and support in the development and execution of effective people management strategies for their teams.Partner effectively with HR COEs (Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Benefits, Operations, and Analytics) to align HR strategies and initiatives across the Region/Business Unit and ensure the successful execution of M&A activities, including HR Due Diligence and Integration.Develop and deliver a high-impact onboarding experience that accelerates new hire productivity and engagement.Accelerate performance by determining talent strategy, including talent acquisition, performance management, and learning initiatives.Strengthen employee relationships by championing open communication and providing transparent and easily understood explanations of all HR policies.Proactively equip local management with the knowledge and resources necessary to address employee relations and performance challenges.Continuous Learning: Takes responsibility for their own learning and professional development. Is objectively aware of the knowledge and skills required to grow in their career, actively seeks out professional development resources to address knowledge and skills gaps and exhibits the personal discipline to accomplish learning goals.Collaboration and Teamwork: Works interdependently and collaboratively with others to achieve mutual goals. Subordinates' individual aims in the interest of working with others in a way that promotes and encourages each person's contributions toward achieving optimal outcomes.Education and Experience:A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field is preferred, but we will also consider candidates with equivalent experience in human resources. A master's degree is a plus.SHRM-SCP, SPHR, and other HR-related professional certifications are preferred.A minimum of 10 years of HR experience managing the Human Resource function.Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.Knowledge of all federal, state, and local employment laws and fair employment practices. Workforce development and culture alignment experience.Relationship management, coaching, and collaboration skills are a must.
