Delta team members take advantage of terrific opportunities to advance professionally in a supportive team-oriented culture while enjoying a generous compensation and benefits package.About the RoleWe are seeking a versatile and team-oriented Senior Structural Engineer to oversee staff and project development across our company. The successful candidate will have:ResponsibilitiesEnsure quality, budget, and schedule adherence for structural engineering workParticipate in early-stage project development, including scoping, risk assessment, conceptual designs, and fee determinationInteract and communicate with clients as a Project Manager and support other Project ManagersMaintain and understand all design software within the office; establish base design parameters, use cases, and limitations; provide or arrange training for staff to improve software efficiencyMaintain structural design guidelines and resourcesAllocate structural team members to meet project and schedule needsCoordinate quality control reviews of calculations, drawings, specifications, and reportsManage and develop structural staff, providing hands-on training individually and in team settingsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related fieldRequired SkillsStructural analysis, design, and detailing for steel, wood, masonry structures, and concrete foundationsFamiliarity with light cable structures, precast concrete, and AASHTO is desiredExperience with commercial and residential projectsProficiency with the International Building Code (IBC), ASCE-7, ACI 318, AISC 360, AITC and/or NDS (wood), and TMS 402/602 (masonry)Use of three-dimensional analysis and design softwareStrong understanding of construction methods and ability to identify constructability issues in drawings and detailsOn-site condition inspection and assessmentSpecification writing, technical report writing, and public speakingLeadership and coordination of staffPreferred SkillsStrong technical, communication, and organizational skillsPay range and compensation packageHiring Salary Range: $100,000-$130,000 (Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities along with an internal equity and alignment with market area data.)Equal Opportunity StatementWe are an equal opportunity employer.
