Job TitleHSE (Health, Safety & Environmental) ManagerLocationWest VirginiaResponsibilitiesDevelop and coordinate safety and environmental training, audits, and compliance programs for employees.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health, safety, and environmental regulations.Manage Workers' Compensation claims and ensure timely documentation, reporting, and communication with third-party administrators and management.Lead accident and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.Provide health, safety, and environmental guidance to management, including performance metrics and regular reporting.Maintain up-to-date safety and environmental programs, records, and documentation, including training, audits, and compliance reports.Monitor compliance with hazardous waste regulations, including proper disposal, inventory, and labeling.Ensure compliance with Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) regulations and manage new chemical reviews.Handle environmental reporting requirements and communicate with state agencies regarding any non-compliances or events.Oversee hazardous materials containment, removal, and remediation efforts.EducationBachelor's Degree in Safety, Environmental, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of experience in environmental regulatory compliance.At least 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong knowledge of industrial hygiene, safety protocols, and hazard communication.Familiarity with environmental regulations and safety permits.Ability to manage large projects and work in both corporate and industrial settings.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and the ability to travel up to 10% of the time.BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision - effective from day one.401(k) with 100% matching on the first 6%, fully vested from day one.Paid parental leave and company-paid life insurance.Paid vacation, tuition reimbursement, and employee assistance program (EAP).If you are interested please do not wait to apply!
