Junior Web Designer

Job Overview:We are seeking a creative and motivated Junior Email & Web Designer to join our team. You will collaborate with our Senior Web Designer, Marketing Director, Ecommerce Director, and Software Developers to create email newsletters and web assets that align with our brand identity and engage our audience. This is a design role and not a developer role. Strong portfolio to contain relevant email and web design required - please attach or send a link to your portfolio.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the design and layout of email newsletters, homepage banners, landing pages, sale banners, etc.Create mockups to communicate design ideas.Maintain and update existing website as needed.Work with web editing tools like Builder.io to implement site designs - basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.Collaborate with the development team to ensure design integrity and functionality.Help with conducting user research and usability testing to improve user experience.Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for projects.Help implement the UX/UI design process within mobile, desktop, and tablet environments.Keep up to date with design trends and industry best practices.Qualifications:1-3 years of experience in Web Design - work in Graphic Design or a related field is a plus.Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Figma with knowledge of Chrome Developer Tools, HTML, CSS.Experience working with a content management system (CMS); familiarity with Builder.io is a plus.Strong understanding of web design principles and user experience (UX) best practices.Excellent and strong attention to detail.Portfolio showcasing design work and projects.Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first design principles.Problem solver and self-starter with passion for design.
