About the RoleWe are seeking a Director of Web Strategy to lead our digital presence and drive an integrated web strategy that aligns with ThreatModeler's business objectives. This role is responsible for designing a cohesive web and digital strategy that elevates brand visibility, enhances user engagement, and optimizes lead generation. As a senior leader, the Director will manage cross-functional teams, oversee web analytics, and ensure a seamless, impactful user experience for our target audience.ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipDefine and execute ThreatModeler's web strategy to align with the company's marketing, sales, and brand goals. Set the vision for the online user experience, from website structure to content strategy, ensuring consistency with brand messaging and cybersecurity expertise.Content Strategy OversightDirect the creation of a comprehensive content strategy that supports lead generation, brand awareness, and SEO. Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to produce content that showcases ThreatModeler's thought leadership and expertise in the industry.SEO & Digital Marketing IntegrationLead SEO strategy, SEM initiatives, and digital ad campaigns to drive organic and paid traffic growth. Collaborate with digital marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and integration across all channels.Data-Driven Insights and OptimizationUtilize web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to monitor website performance, interpret data, and create actionable insights. Develop reports for executive leadership on KPIs, ROI, and user engagement metrics, using data to inform ongoing improvements.Lead Generation StrategyDesign and implement high-impact landing pages, lead magnets, and conversion paths that drive qualified leads and optimize the user journey. Partner with sales to ensure digital assets effectively support customer acquisition.User Experience (UX) and InnovationOversee continuous UX/UI improvements for a seamless, intuitive user experience. Ensure website accessibility, responsiveness, and innovation, aligning with ThreatModeler's brand and audience needs.Cross-Departmental CollaborationWork closely with cybersecurity product teams, developers, and customer success to ensure that the digital strategy accurately reflects the company's solutions and supports customer engagement across all touchpoints.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Strategy, Communications, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.8+ years of experience in web strategy, digital marketing, or similar roles, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership position.Proven success in developing and executing digital strategies for B2B technology or cybersecurity companies.Deep understanding of SEO, SEM, UX/UI, and web analytics, with advanced knowledge of tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and CMS platforms (WordPress preferred).Demonstrated experience managing and developing high-performing teams.Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to drive decisions and improvements.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present to C-level executivesPreferred SkillsExperience in the cybersecurity industry or familiarity with cybersecurity principles.Certifications in digital marketing, SEO, or Google Analytics.Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and digital design principles.
