Market Intelligence Manager (Contract)We are looking for a Market Intelligence Manager for a global technology company based in Arlington, VA that provides services to the US and international governments. In this contract role, you will help to design and build a new knowledge management system (KMS). The KMS will enable the client to more efficiently organize the expertise of the team and manage and maintain business intelligence resources.The initial use cases for the system are to (1) accelerate business development efforts and (2) provide data input for the development of business cases for new product and service offerings. It is expected that the KMS will eventually expand in scope (media monitoring, contract award tracking, for example) and support several teams across the organization.The new KMS will be designed and constructed using existing software platforms, including approved AI technology, that the client already uses for other functions.Term: 20-30 hours per week, for a minimum of 3 months. Location: Some in-office work is preferred (Arlington, VA), but 100% remote is acceptable. Required Experience Solid understanding of the strategic purpose of a knowledge management system and how users interact with the platform.Experience designing, iterating, and working with market intelligence/knowledge management systems or similar platforms.Background in market research and analytics, able to identify the types of information needed to support strategic decision-making.Understanding of the benefits, and risks, of using AI technology to feed marketing intelligence platforms (preferred).Effective at working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and buy-in for programs.
