Our team consistently facilitates critical safety studies to protect people, businesses, and the environment by reducing the risk of chemical-related incidents.Key Responsibilities:Lead and facilitate or be a technical scribe for PHA (Process Hazard Analyses), HAZOP (Hazard and Operability), and LOPA (Layer of Protection Analysis) studies, and other similar studies, depending on experience.Interface with clients, understand their process safety challenges, and offer tailored solutions.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts to deliver the highest quality safety solutions.Prepare detailed reports, capturing the findings and recommendations from studies.Provide training and mentorship to junior members of the team.Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in process safety and risk management.Travel (25 to 30%) to client sites within different regions of the United States and potentially internationally.Required Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.At least 1 year of experience as a Process Engineer, Process Safety Consultant/Engineer, or Risk Engineer.Demonstrated ability to lead PHA, HAZOP, and LOPA studies.Proficient in PHA documentation software (i.e., PHA-Pro, PHA Works)Proficient In Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and/or G-SuiteStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Self-manages and operates with minimum supervision.Authorization to work in the United States.Preferred Qualities:A love for travel!
