Great employee benefits and a strong company culture await!TITLE: PurchaserLOCATIONVancouver, WASALARY$21/hrSCHEDULEMon - Fri / 7am - 4pm / Temp-to-Hire / Full TimeINDUSTRYFlooringTHE ROLEResponsible for buying products and services from various vendors, ensuring that the company has the necessary supplies and equipment to run smoothly while maintaining accurate records.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES• Conduct research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality to ensure the best purchase option.• Liaise with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time and within contractual timelines.• Inspect purchased products upon delivery and report any issues timely to management and vendors. Product inspection occurs in warehouse and/or parking lot and requires an active hands-on approach to verify material condition, quantity, etc.• Place orders, manage procurement, and ensure timely delivery.• Call vendors for material pricing - assist estimating position and cost reduction efforts.SKILLS AND MUST-HAVES• 2+ years of experience in a purchasing role.· Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, email communication and various online tools.· Understanding of supply chain management principles.· Analytical and mathematical capabilities to compare prices and quantities and consider vendor contract terms.THE COMPANY Very friendly, family-owned business located in a small new business park.Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion StatementNW Staffing Resources is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
