Hedman Partners is seeking a seasoned Senior Tax Manager or Principal with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience to join our team. This outstanding opportunity places the eligible candidate on a direct path to Partner, enabling you to make significant contributions to our firm's growth and success.Core ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Management:Oversee the overall management, leadership, training, and supervision of staff, including entry-level, senior, and supervisor-level individuals, on various tax engagements. Foster a team environment by supporting management decisions and building a positive culture.Serve as a career advisor, mentor to one or more employees and providing honest and constructive performance feedback.Tax Compliance & Review:Manage the significant responsibility of reviewing complex tax returns prepared by team members while adhering to a structured timeline of due dates and deadlines.Provide strong technical review experience to ensure accuracy and compliance.Client Relationship Management:Proactively build, manage, and communicate effectively with clients to provide superior client service.Own client relationships, work closely with them, and strategize with Managing Directors regarding planning.Provide clients with recommendations and guidance on achieving their goals and assist in identifying opportunities for growth.Strategic Planning & Consultation:Research complex tax and accounting issues to provide informed guidance to clients.Assist senior management in mentoring, coaching, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.Strategize and collaborate with clients to develop tailored tax strategies that align with their business goals.Qualifications:Certification:Active CPA license is required.Experience:At least 8-10+ years of experience in public accounting with a focus on taxation.Proven experience defending clients in IRS audits.Education:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field is required.Skills:Strong technical review experience.Record of success in developing relationships within a firm and with clients/prospects.Strong desire to become a tax partner and contribute to the firm's growth.Project management and critical thinking skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize multiple assignments.Effective verbal and communication skills.Why Join Us:Competitive Compensation & Benefits: We offer a lucrative salary range of $170,000 to $220,000 based on experience and qualifications with benefits including Medical, Dental, sick, vacation, life, 401(k).Professional Advancement: This role provides a direct path to Partner, offering significant career advancement opportunities.Supportive Environment: Be part of a collaborative team that values innovation and client-focused service.Healthy Balance of Work & Lifestyle: We know the importance of family life as one of our company core values is the balance of work and personal life.Hedman Partners LLP Core Values:• Honesty and Integrity• Loyalty and Trust• Innovative Mindset• Teamwork and Respect• Work/Life Balance and FunApplication Process:Interested candidates should submit their resume and cover letter detailing their relevant experience and qualifications.
