You will also serve as a leader and mentor to the billing team, fostering a positive work environment.Claims ProcessingEnsure accurate and compliant claim submissions, verifying patient information, insurance coverage, and eligibility. Resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth claim resolutions.Payment PostingPost and reconcile payments from insurance companies, patients, and third-party payers. Address any issues, including denied or rejected payments.Rejection & Denial ManagementAnalyze rejections and denials, develop corrective strategies, and collaborate with insurance companies and healthcare providers to resolve claim issues.ReportingGenerate comprehensive billing reports, including KPIs, revenue analysis, and claim status summaries, and provide actionable insights to management.Leadership & CollaborationAct as the go-to person for the billing team, helping troubleshoot issues and collaborating with various internal teams, insurance providers, and external partners.Continuous ImprovementIdentify areas for process improvement, provide training and guidance to staff, and help streamline billing operations.What We're Looking For:Experience2+ years of experience in outpatient medical billing, with a strong understanding of revenue cycle management.LeadershipPrior experience in a leadership or team lead role within a billing department is a plus.SkillsStrong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in MEDENT software and Microsoft Office.Team PlayerA positive attitude and collaborative spirit with the ability to guide, mentor, and support a team.PreferredExperience with managed care, capitation insurance products, and customer service.EducationRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent.PreferredAssociate's degree or medical billing certificate.Compensation & BenefitsPay range: $24 - $30 per hour, based on experience, education, and qualifications.Comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare and opportunities for professional development.Physical Requirements:Up to six hours of continuous sitting, with periods of standing and walking.Must be able to perform repetitive keyboarding and lift up to 15 pounds.Ready to Lead with Us?
