This person will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, ensuring efficient inventory management, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to optimize processes to enhance productivity and accuracy.Responsibilities:· Adherence to department Standard operating procedures.· Maintain cleanliness standards.· Responsible for accurate inventory counts.· Maintain organization of product.· Ensure timely receipt and shipments of product.· Maintain all warehouse documentation in an organized and searchable manner.· Arrange and maintain all safety and other warehouse related training and documentation.· Delegation of responsibilities to warehouse associate(s) who are your direct report(s).Requirements:· Minimum of High School degree or equivalent.· 3 years of warehouse experience, preferably 1 as coordinator or higher.· Proficiency with computers specifically in Microsoft based products.· Independent worker with high quality standards.· Strong Leadership ability.Location: Long Island City, New York.Gil-Bar provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
