Our client in the Red Bank area, a leader in the Health Care Space, is adding a Controller to their team. This is a newly created role for a newly created location.The Controller will oversee the daily accounting operations and be responsible for financial reporting, analysis, general ledger work, maximizing systems to help with accounting functions and more. Responsibilities Responsible for day-to-day general ledger (GL) balancing and accounts payable (AP) which includes preparation and posting of GL entries, completing various GL account reconciliations, researching, and correcting GL exceptions and generating various system reports.Support month end and year end close processes to include preparation and posting of journal entries, completing various general ledger account reconciliations, variance analysis, GL reviews and other duties as assigned.Manage AP processes, including coding, proper approvals, and monthly reviews.T/E ReportingConduct monthly reviews of and provide support for identifying, compiling, and preparing various tax remittance to required jurisdictions.Drive Netsuite Implementation, lead system tests and implementations for the Accounting function.Complete other routine items which may include various processes such as maintaining GL sub ledgers related to fixed asset and prepaid records, maintaining the corporate check register, performing tax balancing.Serve as a contact point for annual audit and tax filings.Help the payroll team to ensure proper posting of bi-weekly payroll including research and correcting of any discrepancies.Support both internal and external reporting functions.Requirements Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance7+ years of accounting management experienceFamiliarity with insurance paid revenue and payroll as primary COGS with less focus on the systems (in addition to the shared services, acquisitional style)CPA a MUSTNetsuite ERP experienceStrong Excel SkillsCo offers strong benefits, bonus, and upward career mobility
