Mechanical Operations Superintendent

Our client, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Operations Superintendent to oversee mechanical operations in mission-critical facilities. This role involves leading and coordinating all aspects of mechanical system installations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Focus:Manage and supervise all on-site mechanical activities related to mission-critical facilities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards. Coordinate with project teams, including engineers, contractors, and vendors, to ensure seamless execution of mechanical systems. Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for the mechanical components of the project. Ensure the successful integration of mechanical systems into the overall construction process. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety protocols. Resolve any on-site issues related to mechanical installations by collaborating closely with the project management team. Maintain detailed documentation of all mechanical activities, changes, and approvals. Skill Set:A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or completion of a relevant technical/trades school program, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience. A minimum of 8-10 years of proven experience in managing mechanical systems within mission-critical environments, such as data centers, hospitals, or other high-stakes facilities. Proven track record of collaborating with top builders on high-stakes ventures, with a strong preference for candidates who have extensive experience in data center construction. Strong understanding of mechanical systems integration within complex, large-scale construction projects. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines while maintaining a commitment to quality and safety. Familiarity with the latest industry standards and best practices for mission-critical mechanical systems preferred. Experience in managing large-scale projects focused on data centers or other similar mission-critical environments is highly desirable.
