Process Safety Engineer [JP - 13934]

A large downstream Oil & Gas refinery is looking to appoint a Process Safety Engineer to support the site's PSM program in Los Angeles, CA. The Process Safety Engineer will partner with plant teams and the larger safety team to manage/improve site compliance at the refinery.The Role:Lead site Process Safety team and support site Operations team.Perform process hazard analyses (PHAs) to ensure all processes comply with OSHA standards.Provide advice and guidance on all process safety management elementsCollaborate with the larger safety team to ensure a high level of OSHA/PSM compliance.Interact directly with regulatory agencies (EPA, OSHA).The Candidate:B.S. Degree in a technical discipline, preferably Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.3+ years PSM experience in refinery or petrochemical environmentMust have excellent communication and multitasking skillsDemonstrated ability to lead and educate team members on the importance of Process Safety
