Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Nuclear Project Manager position will manage projects and programs, including planning, scheduling, and activity control. The role involves leading project teams of more than ten people on complex, multidiscipline initiatives, requiring strong leadership and prioritization skills. The manager will oversee project budgets, collaborate with finance and project controls, and mentor other project managers. A broad knowledge of new technologies and industry trends is essential, along with proficiency in all aspects of project management to enhance effectiveness and efficiency. An advanced degree in a related field of study or business may be accepted in lieu of 2 years of experience. Project Management certification is required.RO/SRO License or CGS Management CertificationConstruction Management CertificationExtensive experience as a direct supervisor or project manager in the commercial nuclear industry, focusing on maintenance, operations, engineering, or construction.Nuclear plant operator production coordination experience and work management experience in plant production work.Proficiency in error reduction and human performance improvement methods along with cost-effective work execution methodologies.Experience managing complex projects, including online work management or refueling and forced outage activities.Advanced project management techniques in Commercial Nuclear Power Plants or similar facilities.Supervisory experience in relevant fields.Membership in industry committees or experience leading internal audits or assessments.Familiarity with project management and budget process software.Ability to evaluate organizational, personal, technical, and effective maintenance programs, procedures, schedules, and cost performance.Knowledge of code and regulatory requirements related to operations, construction, maintenance, engineering, and project activities.Understanding of procedures and processes related to operations, construction, maintenance, engineering, and project activities.Skilled in software programs such as Passport and MS Office.Diverse assignment experience that demonstrates acquisition of new skills or knowledge, facilitating career progression and supporting business needs.Work sponsorship is not available at this time.
