Land Surveying Manager

We are seeking a Land Surveying Manager for our client, an engineering firm, to lead and manage land surveying services and oversee field staff operations in the Western NY region.This is a permanent, full-time job.The ideal candidate would have a 10 years' land survey experience and a professional survey licensure for NYS, as well as a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR).RESPONSIBILITIES:Monitor projects from initiation through delivery, while interfacing with clients and staffWork within the project scopes and budgets, and manage deadlines while prioritizing assignmentsPerform business development activities, proposal preparation, and project managementManage survey staffSurvey calculations, analysis and final map checking, review of title data, record drawings research, and client relationsWrite descriptions for property boundary survey use in deeds, leases, or other legal documentsVerify the accuracy of field survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites
