Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced full-time Business Litigation Paralegal to work in our client's Hackensack, NJ, office.Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM.Salary: $85k- $90kCandidates should possess:The ability to independently prioritize assignments, issues and workloadExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFlexibility and a willingness to adapt to constantly changing prioritiesStrong independent judgment and initiativeStrong attention to detailA commitment to meeting deadlinesEssential FunctionsThis position includes, without limitation, performance of the following core duties:Communications with clients, court, counsel, and othersOrganize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices for document reviewConduct legal researchCoordinate and summarize depositionsPrepare trial binders and exhibitsMaintain pleadings and discovery indexesAssist attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requestsQualificationsExperience electronic filing in New Jersey and New YorkProficiency in software programs Nuix, Relativity, and iManageBachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate2+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably with a mid-size or larger law firmAbility to multi-task and prioritize assignments while delivering consistent, high quality work productA strong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeAbility to interact well with attorneys, staff and clients
