Are you a Patient, Caring Professional with a background in Child Care?Thomas Childcare and Learning Academy is looking for a Passion Educator who is caring, compassionate, and has experience caring for children ages infant to five years of age. Top candidates will also be excellent leaders and mentors, able to use their knowledge to raise fellow teachers up, and make lasting improvements to the school's educational processes.Child Care Teacher Duties and ResponsibilitiesCreating lesson plans, maintaining records on each child's progress and development and maintaining a safe classroom environment.Responsible for implementing Pre-K, Head Start, NAEYC performance standards, policies and procedures, regulations and guidelines in the day-to-day operations of our early childhood development center.Participate in staff meetings, center activities, and staff development.Observe each child daily to assess skills, interests, and needs and use this information to facilitate learning and growthDevelop a cleaning routine throughout the day that keeps all of the interactive areas sanitary and safeMonitor children during all activities and interact with the children to enhance their learningMaintain a well-organized, safe and attractive classroom environment conducive to the optimal growth and development of children.Perform other duties as required or assigned.Work with other teachers and assistants to maintain communication with parents and contact parents in emergency situationsHelp prepare and serve meals and monitor children during lunch timeQualificationsLicense/Certification: PA Teacher Certification is REQUIRED for this position.CDA Certified is REQUIREDInterpersonal Skills and Working With ChildrenEarly Childhood Development knowledge and experienceCreativity Skills and Organization SkillsAbility to plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons and activitiesStrong communication and collaboration skills with fellow educators, families, and childrenAbility to create and maintain a safe and positive learning environment for childrenCurrent CPR and First Aid certification is a plusJob Type:Full-time in person position.Monday - Friday 8 hour shiftBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurance
