Job DescriptionTo manage and execute the activities of the Valuations department, which is responsible for global retail sales support through new and updated retail replacement valuations and item authentication, auction, market reporting, verifying the company's history.Key Duties, Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesManage Global Retail Sales Support for Retail Replacement Valuations (RRV)Provide RRV for new purchases along with updated RRV for past purchasesRequires direct client contact via phone and email Additional client support including repairs Handle any special requests from salons regarding matters that fall under areas such as authentication and historical provenanceArchives & Corporate InitiativesManage historical archives and develop/maintain digital archive database comprising of designs, original photographs, stock books, job books, appraisals, invoices, other client files and press booksWork with the Public Relations department to answer questions fielded from the press Document and organize the history of Harry WinstonKey Job RelationshipsGlobal Retail Staff, Marketing, Creative, Merchandise Planning and Planning, Gemstone Acquisition and Sourcing, Client Services and Repairs departments Job QualificationsGraduate GemologistCollege degree preferred5 years of luxury retail experience preferredStrong written and communication skillsCommitted to client and sales supportKnowledge of current market pricing for diamonds, colored stones and jewelry Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other standard Windows based programs as well as diverse general knowledge in utilizing computer functions.
