Sr. Java Production Support

Job Title: Production Support Analyst (Java/J2EE, Frontend)Job Description: This role is focused on providing troubleshooting and production support for Java/J2EE distributed applications. The primary responsibility is to support 20+ mid-tier, Java-based applications in production, with an emphasis on frontend troubleshooting, specifically in Angular and Struts. This is not a development role.Key Responsibilities:Support and troubleshoot frontend applications using Angular and Struts, with basic backend connectivity understanding.Manage and update web services connections, particularly using APIM to connect FEP web services to APIs.Collaborate closely with the development team to understand release changes and their impact on production.Resolve environment and connectivity issues (not code-related), ensuring seamless application performance.Monitor production applications using tools like BigPanda and Datadog.Required Skills:Strong troubleshooting skills in a production support environment.Frontend experience with Angular and Struts; ability to connect to backend services.Experience with Java/J2EE application support (not development-focused).Knowledge of monitoring tools, particularly BigPanda and Datadog, is highly desirable.This role requires a proactive approach to issue resolution and effective collaboration with development teams to ensure continuous application uptime and stability.
