Store Manager

Hand In Pocket (), a faced paced and rapidly growing women's clothing boutique, is seeking a highly motivated self starter who has a passion for customer service and fashion. As a store manager you will manage the day-to-day activities of the store from opening to closing and after hours events to ensure profitability, collaboration, beauty and outstanding service.Primary Responsibilities:Leadership:Plan, delegate and follow up on expected tasks to ensure goals are metAssist team by driving business results to maximize sales plan, and manage expenses through operational/sales leadershipFocus, support and prepare team to balance customer experience with operational tasksEnsure the highest level of customer care in line with Hand In Pocket's specific service expectations and selling standardsUses product knowledge and selection to work with social media, online and marketing teams to develop content for promotions and digital marketing contentAssists in online inventory management and order fulfillment for Performs buying assistant duties: organize buying trips, price and import styles in POS, edit PO's from buying tripsPerform merchandising tasks, such as stock, re-merchandising, display, price markdowns and store maintenanceQualificationsRetail know-how with hands on experience managing all aspects of a store from the stockroom to the sales floorMust have a good eye for how to present things and put them togetherMinimum 2 years experience working in specialty women's apparel industry is a MUST management experience in a fashion retail environment strongly preferredProven ability to meet and exceed sales goals- Understanding of retail profit measuresAbility to lead a team in a fast paced, environmentDriven to deliver superior service by exceeding customer expectationsDemonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and co-workersAble to work well as a team player in a fast-paced entrepreneurial work environmentProven ability to plan, set and achieve goalsStrong organizational and follow-up skillsExcellent verbal and interpersonal skillsPresents a professional image in appearance, words and actionsBe a self-starter and use good judgment in all situationsProficient with MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
