Sterling, ILDepartment: Dot TransportationReports To: Customer Delivery ManagerWage Range: $15.73 - $22.40This position will provide support to the Transportation Department in coordination with customers, suppliers, drivers, and other Dot/DTI employees.WHAT YOU'LL DOSchedules customer delivery and supplier pickup appointmentsEnters information to update file maintenance systemsSupports Customer Service, Replenishment, Routing, and Dispatch teams on scheduling related processesProvides excellent customer service to external scheduling contactsParticipates in continuous improvement projectsApplies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the positionYOU MUST HAVEHigh school diploma or GEDExcellent attention to detailWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Experience working in fast-paced environment with multiple deadlinesYOU MAY ALSO HAVEAdministrative/clerical experienceEffective professional verbal and written communication skillsGood organizational skillsROLE SPECIFICSSchedule: Monday - Friday.
