Role Overview Korn Ferry has partnered with a repeat partner in their search for a Total Rewards Leader. The Head of Total Rewards will be a critical part of the global leadership team responsible for the strategic direction and program management for Compensation and Benefits. This role will be responsible for the design, improvement, implementation, and communication of compensation and benefits plans. Critical priorities for the role include building and maintaining a global job architecture, ensuring current rewards benchmarks, policies, governance and practices are aligned to the strategic vision of the company. This role will report directly to the CHRO and is an integrated part of the Global HR Leadership team and requires functional coordination with global leadership team. Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of compensation and benefits plans across all global markets; including effective communications to stakeholders and employeesDevelop and maintain a global rewards philosophy for the organization and ensure practices and programs are aligned with local market benchmarks, legal requirements and business plansEstablish and maintain a mechanism to analyze, review and assess the effectiveness of rewards programs to ensure desires outcomes are achievedPerform regular job analysis and benchmarking for roles at all levels across all marketsPerform benefits program analysis across US and local markets to ensure external market competitiveness and implement plan changes as necessaryEstablish and manage global job architecture to be used in organizational design, job levelling, and titlingProvide a strategic monitoring of external market trends and laws to ensure legal compliance QualificationsHas a broad understanding of the role compensation and rewards play and how to use these tools to recognize performance. Effectively communicates the intent and objectives of enterprise-wide compensation practicesTakes a proactive, broad-based, long-term perspective and uses key trends to set direction. Maintains a realistic view of strengths, weaknesses, and industry trends. Initiates and articulates broad organizational strategies.Ability to think creatively and solve unique problems with a new approach; bold in trying a new strategy and approach to a consistent problem.Knows standard employee benefits terminology and concepts and understands general employee benefits market practices. Stays abreast of trends and changes in benefits.Knows standard employee and executive compensation terminology and concepts and understands general marketplace compensation practices. Stays abreast of trends and changes in compensation practices. RequirementsBachelor's degree required.Minimum of 10 years in compensation and/or benefits with 5 years in a leadership role.Extensive compensation experience with a multi-country scope is required.Strong preference for someone that has supported a company through IPO and/or has extensive M&A experience.Publicly traded company experience.Must be in, or willing to relocate to Chicago, IL, this is not a remote role.Salary range: $225,000-$260,000 Base + BonusSE# 510669588
