Rooted in traditional values, SYM Financial Advisors serves as a trusted expert and fiduciary to our clients, using our team's deep knowledge and vast experiences to be an advocate for our clients to help them achieve their vision of financial success.Job SummaryThe Retirement Plan Specialist (RPS) works with both internal SYM Qualified Plan Team members and our external partners to provide service to our 401k/403b/Cash Balance Plan clients AND support new Retirement Plan sales. This is an important role on the Qualified Plan Team that will provide an individual the opportunity to join and learn from a team comprised of highly knowledgeable and experienced individuals who thrive on serving clients with compassion and integrity. The successful candidate will have a deep seeded passion for impacting the lives of people as they confidently guide plan participants through a long-term process that culminates in a successful retirement. Must be dedicated to personal and professional growth and enjoy working and communicating as a member of a team. Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide support for SYM Qualified Plan (QP) Teamand SYM QP clients· Participate in video and face to face group and individual enrollment meetings· Discuss retirement planning concepts and strategies with plan participants and sponsorsCreate/nurture Centers of Influence to drive new businessPrepare sales proposals for prospective clients and maintain relationships with key TPA and Recordkeeper partnersSupport the SYM QP Client Service Model by preparing enrollment materials and scheduling/preparing for meetingsTroubleshoot service issues for existing clients and plan participants· Maintain CRM contacts and reporting systems · Drive Plan Benchmarking & Participant Retirement Readiness initiativesManage, prioritize, and identify projects as neededProvide feedback and ideas within the QP Team to serve clients with excellence· Fulfill and maintain compliance requirements within the firm and industryQualifications· Bachelor's degree · 2-5 years client leadership experience preferred· Familiarity with ERISA regulations and Series 65 licensing or its equivalent is an advantage.· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as CRM software· Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask· Client first attitude· Good written and verbal communication skills· Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others· Desire / ability to work successfully in a small company environmentSalary and BenefitsPay / benefits are competitive based on industry standards· Salary + Discretionary Bonus. Performance reviewed 90 days from date of hire.
