Please see additional specifications about the position below:Employment Type: Full-timeTiming: ImmediateLocation: Lenexa, KS (flexibility to work from home on scheduled Flex/WFH)Expected Salary:$60,000-80,000 (based on experience)Annual performance based bonusesEligible Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K)Job SummaryThis role is for an experienced Linux server administrator to join our team that is interested in working with a small team to manage approximately 100 Linux servers that are providing mission critical services like DNS and DHCP and email services to ISPs around the USA.Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork independently and with others to configure, troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade serversCollaborate professionally with partners and end-users via video conference, email and verballyCollaborate with Server Administrators, developers and engineers to design/build/maintain systems and applicationsResolve escalations/service tickets from internal and external parties.Respond to and monitor alarms from monitoring systemsTroubleshoot data and client issuesAvailable for on-call support rotationWork/Professional Experience 3 years' work experience in roles primarily serving as a Linux server administratorExperience in a role that involved configuring and troubleshooting email clientsExperience in a role that involved configuring and troubleshooting DHCPExperience in a role that involved managing or troubleshooting DNSBachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related professional experience. SkillsExperience with RedHat, CentOS, Alma Linux or derivativeExperience with Dell PowerEdge serversExperience administering ApacheExperience administering ProFTPd or similar FTP serversExperience administering FreeRADIUS or similar RADIUS serverExperience administering ISC BIND or other DNS server softwareExperience administering ISC DHCP or KEA DHCP serverExperience administering PostfixExperience administering Cyrus-IMAPExperience using MySQL, MariaDB, or similar relational database is beneficialExperience using VMware, Proxmox, or similar hypervisor is beneficialExperience with database management and securityOutstanding diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skillsExcellent oral and written communicationPassionate about new and existing technologies Ability to work on projects that are complex in nature and where considerable judgment and initiative are required in implementation and problem resolutionAdditional Information / Contact InfoThe position is full-time salaried, and work will at times include coordination with clients or peers to perform some tasks during planned overnight or early morning maintenance windows and being on-call to assist, if needed, during unplanned outages.If qualified and interested in this position, please contact Charlie Brenneman (charlie@) and be sure to provide a copy of your latest CV / resume and any related certifications you would like to share.
