Working together in a supportive, open workplace and taking cues from our gaming communities, we create products that entertain the world.ResponsibilitiesWe are on the lookout for a senior narrative designer who could help us create a new criminal world for our AAA game project in the LA studio. You will be responsible for everything that relates to the story of the game, as well as working and assisting other departments and working together to make the creative ideas a reality. We invite you to apply for this role if you are looking to start an amazing journey with a group of game enthusiasts.What You'll Be Doing:Build the overall worldview of the game according to the project requirements;Integrate the scripts into the existing world view, including but not limited to partially modifying the scripts, making fine adjustments of the world view, etc;Responsible for the adaptation of the scripts, including but not limited to adding fictional plots to the original scripts, adapting the original scripts to a certain degree of gamification, adding or reducing dialogues to suit the pace of the game;Responsible for the writing of in-game text content, such as dialogues, mission descriptions and other parts of copywriting;Design the story to fit better with the level gameplay, and improve the expressiveness of the level content.QualificationsWe Expect You To Have:Bachelor degree or above, preferably in literature, screenwriting, film, game design or a related field;Excellent literature and storytelling skills;At least 5 years working experience as a narrative designer in the video game industry;Participate in at least one AAA project, from start to finish, in a narrative designer role;Passion for stories and games, especially story-driven AAA games and action games;Familiarity with dialogue system;Excellent communication skills and logical thinking.Even Better If You Have:Open world game experienceTV/Film writing experienceWorking experience with technical artists on dialogue system;Familiarity with crime themes.Additional Information This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles (currently hybrid because of pandemic);Current working hours: Monday - Friday, 11am - 8pm Pacific Time (including one-hour break);Salary depending on experience.Yotta is committed to building an inclusive environment where creative professionals from a multitude of diverse cultural backgrounds collaborate to inspire audiences and each other.
