Field Sales Engineer in the MD/VA/DC Market. The successful candidate will be calling on multiple customers across all markets in the territory, including Military, Space, Government, Commercial and Telecom accounts. Candidate will develop personal relationships with the customers, focusing on engineering and procurement, and will drive demand for the products represented by keeping customers appraised of new product introductions and product advancements. Responsiveness and technical expertise in the products represented, and their applications, are key to the candidate's success.A Bachelor of Science In Engineering, or equivalent experience is desired. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of RF/Microwave component, sub-system, or system level, field sales engineering is preferred.The candidate should be able to multi-task and handle multiple customer accounts simultaneously and efficiently, with very fast response time to customer inquiries. Candidate must also succinctly and accurately communicate complex technical issues both verbally and in writing to technical professionals. Candidate must be able to work with a CRM tool and be able to manage opportunities and other sales functions. Candidate must be a self starter and able to excel in an independent environment with little day to day supervision. Candidate must be available for out of state travel to trade shows, and for product training periodically throughout each year. Candidate must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
