Senior Applications Engineer activities include assisting Industrial Sales Engineers and Inside Sales Representatives with application review and product selection. Our most successful Sr. Applications Engineers:Possess superior communication and organizational skillsExhibit goal-oriented behaviors and time management principlesApply extensive attention to detail to all tasksExude a customer-focused attitude Proficient in Microsoft OfficeHave experience with other common software products; and pump-related softwareExperience with pumping systems, heat transfer equipment, and process equipment preferredPossess a strong mechanical aptitudeIndustrial sales experience with proven results requiredPossess Technical or Business degree preferredMust be able to pass background and reference checks; as well as a drug testMust maintain an active driver's license with a clean driving record Scope of Responsibility:Assist Industrial Sales Engineers and Inside Sales Representatives with applications, product selection, pricing, etc.Keep current on markets, products, and technologiesJoint sales calls with Industrial Sales Engineers to review applications in the field as neededAttend vendor training and meetings as required"˜Product Champion' for assigned productsBe available to assist all departments within our organizationWork with Inside Sales Manager in developing an in-house product training programPerform all other duties as assigned
