With our network of more than 80 manufacturing facilities and more than 4,000 employees, we're leading the industry with innovation and a safety-first mindset.Job SummaryReporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, this position will be responsible for leading the planning and implementation of over 30 regional and national tradeshows and external events for our businesses across North America. The primary function of this role includes managing and updating the overall events schedule, as well as owning the organization and execution of each individual show.Job ResponsibilitiesManage and update the overall tradeshow and event plan for our businessesCollaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop event campaigns that contribute to our growth and brand awarenessCoordinate event details with internal teams to ensure events are fully coveredProvide clear, consistent, and effective communication of all programs and opportunities to stakeholders in a timely manner, including briefing documents and logisticsDevelop and implement scalable processes that support communication, documentation, and operations for managing vendors and communication with internal stakeholdersManage lead tracking and ROI measurementSupport on-site logistics, travel, and other activities as necessaryCreate a plan for each show that includes, but is not limited to due dates, responsibilities, tasks, budgets, general information, exhibitor forms & orders, shipping information, literature and promotional materials, promotion opportunities, contingencies plans, and post-show follow up informationDevelop pre and post-show communication and nurture plans in partnership with the marketing and product teamsManage tradeshows within a specified budgetWork with exhibit services and external vendors to ensure all necessary product, displays and relevant equipment is shipped to shows on timeAdminister the ordering, inventorying, and distribution of branded promotional itemsEstablish relationships with industry associations and events/tradeshow teamsIdentify and explore opportunities to work with distributors and ISR's on co-marketing campaigns with the Channel Marketing ManagerPlan and implement customer receptions at trade showsCoordinate with the legal department on edits/updates to the liability insurance when necessarySkills/KnowledgeDegree in Marketing/CommunicationsFive years of experience in marketingAt least two years of experience in tradeshowsDemonstrated event planning and event management best practicesExperience working in a fast-paced environment with a track record of successful execution of multiple events with competing prioritiesExceptional program, project, and time management skillsHighly organized, detail focused, results-driven, accountable with the ability to handle stress and last minute, urgent requestsConsultative approach to questions, concerns, and issuesExcellent budgeting, negotiation and vendor management skillsProject management skills and experience using tools such as or SmartsheetExcellent verbal and presentation skillsExpertise in Microsoft Office SuiteWhat CRH Offers YouHighly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsA diverse and inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionAbout CRHCRH has a long and proud heritage.
