Company Overview:McCormick Equipment Company is a leading distributor of industrial products. Specifically, products for manufacturing and distribution centers related to loading docks, storage, and doors. Our engineered products are sold, installed, and serviced all over the Midwest. Our continued growth has created the need to add additional salespeople in several markets.Position Overview:Our Sales Representatives work within defined territories selling our products and services. This position is an outside sales role that would be responsible for growing existing accounts and securing new customers by selling our growing list of engineered products. McCormick Equipment sells engineered products and solutions to a large base of customers throughout our territory. These products include industrial doors, storage products, loading dock equipment and safety products.Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Generate business by working an assigned territory, selling industrial equipment and services to our new and existing customers.Manage customer relationships, develop opportunities and solve problems.Identify potential customers, while maintaining relationships with current customers.Make between 5-7 sales calls per day.Skills & Experience Requirements:3+ years' experience of successful selling to contractors and end usersExperience with industrial equipment sales preferred (door experience is a bonus)Experience with sales and major accountsGood mechanical aptitudeAble to effectively cover territory on a daily basisMcCormick provides Sales Representatives with all the tools needed for success, including sales tools and training as needed, laptop, iPad and reimbursement for care mileage and business expenses.
