We are particularly interested in candidates with lithium-ion experience and a working knowledge of battery systems. Strong candidates will have a demonstrated history of project ownership and personal technical growth. Successful candidates will demonstrate during interviewing an understanding of FLE's 30xâ„¢ technology as can be learned from our website.As a Level 1 Battery Engineer at FLE, you will:· Perform cell and battery testing· Assist in battery prototype development (design, assembly, and testing)· Battery test equipment maintenance· Data analysis and presentation· Support customer testing· Customer developmentQualifications/Desired Experience:· Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical field, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or materials science· 1-5 years of experience· Lithium-ion cell testing experience· Strong understanding of lithium-ion cell fundamentals· Experience working with lithium-ion batteries· Troubleshooting mindset· Demonstrated ability to communicate testing results· Ability to self-identify and fill knowledge gapsU.S. Citizenship or lawful permanent residence is a plusCompensation: Anticipated salary range: $60,000-75,000 per year, along with health insurance, dental, vision, and a PTO plan. The position is on-site in State College, PA. A relocation package is provided.
