Job Title: Senior Benefits SpecialistLocation: Washington, D.C.Industry: Conservation/Non-ProfitPay: $24-$28/hr; potential salary upon conversion $60,000-$70,000Hours: Full-time, M-F, 8:00 am - 5:00 pmBackground Check: 7-year criminal check requiredAbout Our Client:Our client is a mission-driven international conservation organization dedicated to protecting forests and natural landscapes globally. With a flexible hybrid model, employees are required in-office only 8 days per month, near Union Station, Washington, D.C.Job Description:The Senior Benefits Specialist will manage U.S. employee benefits administration, support open enrollment, ensure compliance, and foster relationships with benefit vendors. This role involves close collaboration with HR, Legal, Procurement, and People Experience teams and contributes to global compensation and benefits projects.Key Responsibilities:Benefits Administration & Compliance (40%)Ensure U.S. benefit plans align with company policies and regulatory standardsLead open enrollment processesComplete compliance activities and manage benefit-related data systemsVendor Management (20%)Manage vendor relationships and conduct regular meetings to ensure service deliveryOversee contract renewals, invoicing, and billing reconciliationCommunication & Employee Support (25%)Serve as main point of contact for employee benefits inquiriesDevelop communication materials for benefits awarenessUse analytics to evaluate benefits programs and present findings to HR leadershipGlobal C&B Project Support (10%)Support additional global projects as assignedQualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, specializing in U.S. benefitsExperience:Minimum 3 years managing U.S. benefits, compliance, and open enrollmentKnowledgeable in U.S. benefits regulationsProficiency with ADP, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Workday (in implementation)Skills: Strong customer service, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and confidence in working with highly educated professionalsPerks:Hybrid work model (8 in-office days per month)Located near Union StationOpportunity to support a meaningful, global environmental missionAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
