Matchtech are supporting the recruitment for a Systems Integration Manager to join a key client in Baltimore, US.The client is open to those relocating within America or from Canada to the US.Job DescriptionThis is a technical management position to be part of the Systems Integration Team in a major D&B Transit contract, and to eventually perform and support other Systems Engineering activities for other rail and transit projects and proposals in the US.The specific responsibilities for the candidate's first assignment, for a major D&B Transit Contract include, but are not limited to:Review Project Scope of work, work packages, Strategies, execution plan, etc.Interface coordination with various parties such as internal parties, Consortium partner, Engineering partners, stakeholders, etc.Coordinating & resolving Technical interfaces between various engineering disciplines of the project design team and/or construction teamMonitor status of interface agreements across project and provide regular updates to Project Managers where appropriate.Management of the Interface Management Tool (IMT), and chairing interface management meetings with technical disciplines.Participate in the development of Bids for large multidisciplinary infrastructure projectsRequirements for this position areSoftware / Systems / Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineer with a holistic, systemic view of the projects.Knowledge of Railway Systems: Signalling, Telecommunications, Power, Operation Control Centres, Rolling Stock (demonstrated speciality in at least one of them is recommended).Have a holistic approach for the design and assessment of railway projectsExperience in the application of ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2015 Systems and software engineering -- System life cycle processes.Min 3 years of experience in Interface Management tasks for transportation projects.Proactive. Can-do attitude.Travel availabilityFluent EnglishAdditional skills considered nice to have for this position are previous experience in:Knowledge of Systems Engineering methods, tools, and processes.INCOSE certification (ASEP / CSEP / ESEP)Experience in the use and management of IBM DOORS and DOORS Next Generation.Job Requirements7-10 years' experience in Systems Engineering related activities, including 3+ years' experience inInterface managementQuality Assurance and Quality ControlRequirements managementTesting and Commissioning managementInterface managementChange managementDesign ManagementExperience in Federal projects with Federal Transit Administration or Federal Rail Administration oversight is a plus.Experience in Design & Build contracts is a plus.Degree in engineering (Bachelor or equivalent, as a minimum).Member of INCOSE is a nice to haveLegally able to work in US.Proficient user of MS Excel.Familiarity with Requirement Management tools: DOORS NG, Comply Pro, etc.Ability to develop non-standard solutions.Ability to work in a multi-disciplined team.Hard-worker, methodic and organized person.Rigorous professional with attention to details.Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and self-organize efficiently.Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including but not limited to management, co-workers, clients, vendors, contractors and third parties.Willingness to learn, develop and apply new techniques, standards and processes.Willingness to take on additional tasks as needed.Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.Excellent organizational, time management and problem solving skills.Advanced user of Microsoft Office 365.Business fluency in English, both written and verbal is a must.Location: preferred location is Baltimore, US. The support of other projects or proposals may require travels within US. Partial remote work could be discussed on a case-by-case basis
