About the Company:Aerospace component manufacturing company.About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Supply Chain Leader to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations within the aerospace sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of materials and components. Key responsibilities include managing supplier relationships, implementing best practices in logistics and inventory management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production goals. A strong understanding of aerospace regulations and quality standards is essential.ResponsibilitiesDetermine and prioritize tasks based on given expectations and objectivesSet and create clear avenues for success with the provided targetsWill play a key role in laying the foundationEngage in outside processing and material orderingManage dual sourcing and lead cost negotiations with suppliersTrack, monitor, and analyze supplier performance regularlyEnsure contracts are properly communicated and executed with suppliersMaintain and strengthen supplier relationshipsHandle external entities, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration, potentially functioning in a managerial capacityQualifications8+ years in supply chainMust have worked in the armed servicesPay range and compensation package75000-85000 + 5% quarterly bonus if goals are metEqual Opportunity Employer
