SCEG offers mechanical and electrical engineering for hotels, apartments, condominiums, single family estate homes, theaters, shopping centers, restaurants, retail stores, schools, offices, hospitals, libraries, museums and amusement parks. We have current projects in Hawaii, Colorado, Florida, Indiana and of course Southern California. More information about the firm can be found at .ResponsibilitiesCandidates should have some level of experience in the following areas plus the desire to learn and work with a team.Designing and drafting electrical systemsCalculating loads, performing short circuit studies and energy analysisDesigning lighting, power and low voltage systemsSelecting and specifying electrical equipmentLaying out and sizing distribution systemsCoordinating with building departments, clients and other project team membersReviewing contractor's equipment submittals and RFI'sMaking field observations and reportingQualificationsThis position is available to a self-motivated, growth oriented, professional seeking a flexible environment and rewarding opportunities.B.S. degree in a related field required, AEBT accredited BSEE preferred3-7 years' experience designing electrical systems for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings requiredExcellent AutoCAD skills required, Revit skills preferredProficient in the use of Energy Pro; Easy Power and other industry standard electrical engineering software requiredExcellent English communication skills, written and verbal requiredOutstanding organizational abilities requiredBenefitsPaid vacation, holidays and sick leaveMedical, vision and dental Insurance401K with company matching contributions Opportunity for growth and advancementCompany CultureWe solve problems before they get built.
