We're seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Supervisor to join our team and lead with purpose in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is key in achieving high levels of production efficiency, ensuring quality, maintaining a safe workspace, and fostering cross-department collaboration.What You'll Do:Lead Production Operations: Oversee daily production, managing both direct and indirect labor to meet performance goals while prioritizing safety and quality.Drive Quality & Customer Focus: Enforce quality standards to exceed customer expectations, ensuring product reliability and code compliance.Champion Safety: Actively promote a safe work environment, communicating safety policies, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.Foster a Positive Culture: Delegate tasks, enforce policies consistently, and cultivate a team-oriented environment that supports open communication.Support Employee Growth: Announce open positions, conduct interviews, and guide employees through training and development, and provide timely, constructive performance appraisals.Improve Efficiency & Cost-Effectiveness: Track production metrics, manage daily reporting, and continuously seek opportunities for process and cost improvements.Promote Accountability: Maintain accurate inventory records, coordinate with scheduling, attend required meetings, and approve time records for hourly and non-exempt employees.About You:Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to engage across organizational levels.Strong problem-solving capabilities with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.Self-driven, organized, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.Proficiency in math, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints.What You'll Need:High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.Previous leadership experience in production or manufacturing preferred.Join Dekko and be part of a workplace where values and safety come first, creating a dynamic environment for growth and innovation!Dekko is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated and valued.
