Date Posted: 09/04/2024Hiring Organization: Rose International/LG-ES-HondaPosition Number: 470383Job Title: Production Planning SpecialistJob Location: Jeffersonville, OH, USA, 43128Work Model: OnsiteEmployment Type: PermanentMust Have Skills/Attributes: Automotive industry, ERP, KPI, Production Support, Supply ChainJob DescriptionOverview: The LG Energy Solution-Honda joint venture has partnered with Rose International for Direct hire recruiting services for this role.As a Production planning specialist, you will have a bird''s eye view on the company''s strategic goals and performance and work to with each business team to communicate key points and initiatives, working toward optimization of the company''s profitability.Responsibilities:Contribute toward company planning meetings and work to cascade the overall direction of all the production teamsResponsible to manage the company''s key performance indicators such as project schedules, productivity, yield, capital expenditures, revenue, HR/Safety metrics.Collaborate with others to improve variances to metric goals to optimize company performanceProactively propose and deploy measures to prevent risks to business operationsEstablish production goals and monitor production performance on a day-to-day basisSynchronize information flow between multiple IT systemsPlay a key role in communication between parent companies and the joint ventureManage LH Battery's routine Meetings (C-Suite Mtg, Weekly / Monthly PDCA meeting, etc) and supporting the CEO's schedule as necessarySupport meeting content preparations within the JV and with our business partnersEstimate and track yearly, monthly, and daily productivity plan to set company targetsCollaborate and guide inventory management teams for monthly closings and consistency of inventory countsStrategize plans for manpower resource management and investment planningEvaluate production feasibility and update Line of Balance (LOB) on a monthly basisPrepare in-depth reports to senior management for optimal decision makingEducation/Experience:Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Business or relevant experience3 - 5+ years of experience in automotive industry or relevant experienceKnowledge/Skills:Strong computer skills required, including ERP, Excel, PowerPoint, and Manufacturing Legacy SystemStrong interest in automotive industry and basic understanding of manufacturing processExcellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentationAble to work flexible hours occasionally to support team needsDemonstrated teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goalsAbility to multitask and solve complex problems.Strong technical analysis and troubleshooting skills.Are you ready to join us in our journey toward a better world?
