With offices in Los Angeles, NY, SF, Atlanta, and the Philippines, ACC clients include Pepsi, T-Mobile, Dolby, Meta, Google, Spotify, Netflix, Delta, Amazon, etc.Job DescriptionACC is seeking an Account Executive to join the team, supporting brand, product, and marketing comms for a portfolio of iconic, mass beverage brands and their campaigns/initiatives across entertainment, sports, music, and culture. Understanding the nuances of working with big brands, while simultaneously handling competing priorities with a variety of brands and stakeholders will be key to success in this role.The Account Executive will be responsible for understanding the communication needs of multiple brands and divisions within a Fortune 500-CPG company, managing timely delivery of client asks, pitching/managing media requests, and supporting the team in keeping projects moving forward smoothly and efficiently. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, proactive, highly-organized team player with a passion for media pitching and growing their strategic muscle, as well as interest in social media, entertainment, music and/or pop/internet culture. Experience in media monitoring/tracking, reporting, and managing interns preferred.ACC offers a hybrid working environment. This role is required to work in our NYC office at least once a week on Wednesdays to collaborate with the team. We also offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, cell phone reimbursement, unlimited PTO, etc.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Drives press results across consumer and trade press, ensuring quality placementsGuiding and support Account Coordinator to ensure accurate and comprehensive media monitoring and reporting across all clientsAnalyzes and measures placements based on approved client standards and requirements (key message pull through, feature vs round up, etc.)Consistently stays up to date with news trends - reads about other brands (competitor and in other industries), proactively shares ongoing updates with team and clientsParticipates in creative brainstorms/ideation and brings multiple creative insights and real time opportunities to clientsDevelops talent, brand, news cycle auditsDevelops briefing books in prep for talent/exec interviewsSupports presentation/deck development for PR strategies and recapsOversees media list development for accuracy and campaign relevanceDrafting pitches for local and national outreachDaily client commsIAT collaborationPRINCIPAL WORKING RELATIONSHIPSDirect Supervisor: This role reports to the Account Supervisor (day to day) and Vice President - AdvisoryRequirementsThe ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill set:2+ years public relations experience (agency preferred)BA or BS DegreeOutstanding communication skills, the ability to manage up, high level of confidentiality, strong follow through and attention to detailSocial media savvy - experience with new and social media strategies and campaigns is a plusExtremely flexible, proactive, solutions-oriented, highly organized, able to shift priorities and multi-task, while working under strict deadlinesCritical/strategic thinker and problem solver, with the ability to generate creative solutionsFamiliarity with Critical Mention, SimilarWebPro, MuckRack, Cision and search engines to monitor and track broadcast and digital coverage tied back to client specific campaigns or major news where the client should be alertedExperience working with celebrities and executives (interview management, media/messaging training) a plusAbility to handle heavy workflow processing in a small, collaborative, entrepreneurial team environment, with high-level of self-accountability an innate desire to succeedPR material development experience (i.e. press releases, talent talking points, pitches, etc.) is a plusPassionate about providing exceptional client service to internal and external partnersAbility to anticipate needs and execute time sensitive matters in a fast-paced, highly demanding, and high-volume environmentAbility to be flexible with work hours, as business needs required
