Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Job dutiesReview power quality studies and provide solutions to address flicker, harmonics, and voltage stabilityDesign, size and safely implement low and medium voltage power systems."Electrical Engineer will join the corporate Engineering, Technology, and Innovation team where they will be responsible for design, project, and construction management of small to large industrial projects throughout organizationAreas of work to include development of functional/performance specifications for electrical distribution and process control equipment/systems, low and medium voltage system design, high voltage power system knowledge, fiber optic and networking design.Assist with switchgear and breaker coordination setup incorporating load factor in the designEnsure that installations and applications are in line with governing codes including NEC and NFPA.Complete designs and provide value engineeringAdministration and surveillance of the construction quality assurance programJob requirementsBasic knowledge of computers and MS Office programs - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerpointExperienced with field work and understanding the customer's needsHistory of meeting established target dates for projectsAbility to work with in project scope and budgetRegistered professional engineer with active license, in good standingExperience working on fast-track projectsExcellent communication skills in both written and verbal form are necessary to be successful in this roleTeam player, detail oriented, and organizedProficiency with computer operating systems, to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) requiredRequires basic IT skills including networking design and maintenance, PC structure, and standard office software skills.Your EducationTechnology, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering college or university
