Manager of Application Development

We are working with a client headquartered in Columbus to identify a Manager of Application Development. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.ResponsibilitiesLead the application development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.Manage the end-to-end application development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment.Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.Ensure code quality, security, and scalability through best practices in software development.Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, supporting their growth and technical development.Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance development practices and improve application performance.Manage project resources effectively to meet deadlines and budget constraints.Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership and stakeholders.Qualifications6+ years of experience in application development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.Strong technical expertise in [relevant programming languages/technologies, e.g., Java, .NET, Python].Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing development team.
