Give us a call at 937-965-0765 and/or apply directly to this posting for immediate consideration!Job Responsibilities:Must have strong tooling design and surfacing experience with CATIA V5 software and be able to perform advanced mechanical engineering calculations to ensure overall project design requirements are metMust be proficient in GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5 2009Will lead design reviews with customers, suppliers, and/or other departments to ensure sound designs and drawing accuracy, including visits as necessary to customers and suppliersResponsible to communicate directly with the customer on technical issues to get resolution of unknowns and required approvalsMust be able to multi-task and assume responsibility for several projects at one time in differing levels of completionHighly desired to have experience with composites and resin injection processes.Will take a lead role in solving technical tooling problems throughout the project with assistance from Project Manager and ManagementMay manage large technical projects that require a number of supporting engineers and/or design firmsWill help to develop engineering standards and methods that create an environment where quality products are consistently developed and executedWill prepare and present engineering change documentation to the project manager to get sign-off by the customer and/or directly to the customer on development and smaller projectsSkills Required:Negative drug screen and favorable background check (Note: we are a smoke free facility)Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and six to eight years of related experience using 3D CAD software3 Year minimum CATIA V5 ExperienceExperience with email and calendar software (i.e. Outlook) and Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft ProjectTravel: 2% - 15%Benefits:We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and retirement plan.
