Inspection Technician - Machine Shop

Starting at $25 per hour, paid weekly. Therefore, we believe strongly in providing opportunities to any team member who wants to take on additional responsibilities and/or learn new skills.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate with team members to ensure we are producing high-quality machined partsMeasure and record dimensions for machined parts utilizing CMMs, height gauges, and other inspection equipment and hand toolsCreate inspection plans and reports and gather inspection toolsInterpret drawings with standard dimensioning and tolerancing and GD&TAssess risks and discern appropriate actionDESIRED SKILLS:Advanced blueprint readingProficiency with calipers and micrometersAttention to detailExcellent communication skillsStrong math skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookSUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS:Strong understanding of quality control principlesProactive drive to complete tasks with minimal guidanceHunger, humility, and people smartsCommitment to quality workDetermination to solve problems and bring solutionsExperience in a machine shop environmentCOMPENSATION PACKAGE INCLUDES:80 hours paid time off your first year and 128 hours your second year.
